Dear Holt Family,

Congresswoman Holt has now received her place among the great women who graced this life. She was an angel here on earth, and represented all that is good and kind and loving while here. I never met your mother, but she had a tremendous impact on families with loved ones who required special needs to continue their education. Your mother nearly 50 years ago helped a family member obtain access to resources to go to private schools in order to meet special...

To the Holt family, you have my deepest sympathies for the loss of such a grand woman. I have fond memories of growing up with you in Linstead and have the highest regard for Marjorie, your mother and grandmother. A couple of things that stand out in my mind from way back when, are ice skating on the Cove behind your house and parties in the rec room. Its so nice that so much of the family were able to stay in Linstead. Blessings to all.

To the family of Marjorie, in particular Vicky, I wish to convey my deepest sympathies on behalf of brothers and me. As a family friend that I recall being able to call anytime even after in office, I was so proud of her for being elected to Congress, a position that seemed to not alter her gracious manner. I had forgotten that your father also worked at Westinghouse as did mine. So many memories, so sad to lose her; my heart goes out to you.

Congresswoman Marjorie Holt was a wonderful influence on many of us who would not be in public service but for her support and guidance. U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett

Dear Holt Family,
I wanted to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Marjorie. She was a great leader and colleague. I served in the House of Representatives with her from 1976-1986 when she retired and I went to the US Senate. As a Congresswoman she focused on commitment - to her constituents, the economic needs of her district and the National security needs of our country. She was always civil, willing to listen and find common ground in getting things done. It was a pleasure...

To the family of Marjorie Holt I would like to express my condolences to you and may you receive the comfort that God can give as He put his right hand out to you Isa.41:10.13

What a legacy Marjorie has left for her family. She was very good friends with my Aunt Dottie Phillips who passed away last week at the age of 94. My maiden name was Vittek and I found a memior from my Dad that he had worked on Marjorie's campaign. Bless you all. Gini Spicer

Such an interesting obituary. I remember when Mrs Holt was elected to the House of Reps in 1972. Amazing that she is survived by a great-great-grandchild. As a genealogist I can say that it is nearly unheard of that 5 generations of a family would be living at the same time. From a former Baltimorean, my sympathies to the Holt family.

To the family,I send my condolences. May you find comfort in each other and strength in Gods word. Psalm 91:2
