Read MoreThere are certain people we meet through our lives who's memory will stay with us, and Marjie is one of those people. I still her standing in her spot in the aerobic room and in the pool. She couldn't go too deep or we would loose her. I've missed not seeing her, but she will always be remembered.

Joey, as soon as I saw this photo, I knew it had to be your mom, your resemblance was so strong. I didn't know your mom, but she was obviously a wonderful woman, who I'm sure left you with many happy memories. I am so sorry for your loss.

It was many years ago that I visited the Rose home often to be with my good friend Christine(50 yrs ago and more to be exact). We were both only girls with lots of brothers. Mrs. Rose was always a gracious hostess when I was there. I have fond memories of her.
I moved away from N Smithfield at 13, and lost touch. I would have liked to have visited her at the library if I had known she was there. Christine and I were avid readers as children, competing in making book reports...
