Mark was my friend at Rogers High School and at Bowling Green State University. He was a gentle person with a kind heart. The world needs more people like Mark. I feel privileged to have been his friend. My warmest wishes of peace to all of you.

Mark was a hero of mine while I was at Rogers. He was an outstanding mentor to the young guys coming into the Track Program under Coach Baldrige and Reneaux. God bless his family and I know Jesus has welcome hime home.

As Mark's track and CC coach at Rogers High School I have always had a special relationship with him that went far beyond athletics.

There are many who are deeply indebted to Mark for the inspiration and guidance he offered them while attending Rogers. Mark was a mentor to many and took pride in helping everyone regardless of their grade in school or social standing.
