I was so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I shared with my mother ( who lives out of state) and she asked that I share her condolences for "such a wonderful, helpful caring man". ( one guess as to who helped her when she was visiting us and got locked out of our house while we were away). When I think of Mark I remember all the mornings he walked to pur neighbor Coda's house and picked up her paper and walked it up to the door for her. I can see his dog Jack running around in gleeful...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Always the generous neighbor, Mark never hesitated to volunteer a hand with a home project or to give me handyman advice. We loaned each other tools over the many years as neighbors, enjoyed a few meals with families and holiday celebrations in the Deed's yard. Mark was a great example of what a good neighbor is, and our neighborhood will be a bit less without him.

Dear Ann,Erin and Zach, I am so sorry to hear about Mark. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. He was a funny guy. I loved spending time with you all at Stapletons pool back in the days.My love to you all. Margie

My first memory of Mark was the day we moved into our house which is across the street from the Deeds. It was pouring down rain, Mark ran across the street and helped us get the final boxes inside out of all the rain. We were so grateful, and it was a very good welcome to the neighborhood. Mark will be missed dearly.
