Not sure what to say?

Mark! Literally was just talking about you yesterday! Thank you soooo much for being just a great guy! Also my math teacher @ Hardy. Dude your impact is forever going to be with me and many others. To the family I couldn't fathom the space Mr. Dunn left behind. Many condolences still.

Mr. Dunn was one of my favorite teachers ever. He was my 6th grade homeroom and math teacher at Hardy Middle School and was essential in my transition from elementary to middle school all those years ago. He always went the extra mile to help me out and who could forget the Trolls. I was randomly compelled to look him up this morning and am truly saddened to learn of his passing, but to his loved ones, family, and friends, please know that Mr. Dunn was universally loved and respected by all...

This is how Mark should be remembered.

My condolences. I found out through a classmate yesterday on Facebook of Mr. Dunn´s passing. He was my 6th Grade Math teacher at Hardy. I remember he was one of my favorite teachers. It´s easy to have a favorite class when you like the subject. Math & Science were my favorites subjects. It wasn´t an easy class but Mr. Dunn had a terrific style of teaching. I have a learning disability, speech language disorder & dyslexia. I was in special education classes since 2nd grade. School was...

Mr. Dunn, Was A important person in my life. He was my love teacher and friend.

I have had my daughter to search for Mark year after year. He came across my mind again about three weeks ago. And this time, she informed me of his passing. All along, he had returned to this area and was right under my nose. Mark and I worked together at Rock Creek Foundation and ate lunch everyday together. We made each others day with joy and laughter. What a magnificent person! Hmmm! So hurt. See you on the other end my buddy.

Mark was my best friend in my time for us in Turkey. Mark was the best of men, my friend, he and Judy were great. His father, and Mr. Hart, helped us greatly.

Everybody I know wanted to be with Mark, once they'd met him. He was one of what John Prine called 'a real fluorescent light.' He SAW you, and loved what he saw. And laughed with you about it, the whole megilla that life is. It's such a searing pain to have him gone. The family-writ-large that he left behind is forever enriched by his presence among us, and is charged with doing what we all can to shine some of that light of his wherever it's called for.

Mark, I'd give a lot to be...

I met Mark in the mid 1980s and, while we'd lost touch, I've thought of him often. He was a special guy: kind, thoughtful, caring, fun and funny. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I only wish I'd had the chance to reconnect with Mark to tell him how much my husband and I thought of him. He left a lasting impression.
