Not sure what to say?

Many fond memories of Mark - shared time with my brother David Charlsen and me in San Francisco He was an amazing designer and friend to David and I fortunately got to share time with them

Going through some photos- Mark was a dear friend of my brothers- David Charlsen- sad to discover his passing- he was a wonderful person - many fond memories of sharing time with him -

Mark was a special longtime friend when he lived in Minneapolis and then moved to LA. We had so many amazing fun times together. Mark you are forever in my heart

I'm so saddened to hear about Mark. He was one of the first designers I came in contact with when I came to the furniture design business. He was an amazing designer and a wonderful client. Peace to his family and friends. Say Hi to Gary for me Mark. I'll miss you both. The colors of the design world are now a bit more dim for me.

I knew Mark from his Minneapolis days and he and Mark were our friends when Kate and I moved to CA. We went many times to his home (rock Hudson's old house) and to many of the Gay Men's Chorus concerts. As happens in life friends do drift away. He was a terrific man and I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch. My condolences to all his family and friends.

My dear, you and Rick were a right of passage for myself and Pamela. What fun, laughter and cynicism we shared. Thanks to William- we were gifted to share the most important time of our youth with you...Love to you always Heidi

We were so saddened to learn of Mark's passing. We have the fondest memories of Mark and he will hold always hold a special place in our hearts. We worked with Mark and Carmen for a number of years from the late 1990's through the early 2000's. He designed our homes in Palos Verdes and Newport Beach. Our fondest antiques were purchased with Mark. He had a keen architectural eye and impeccable taste. He was a true gem!! We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We hope...
