I'm deeply sadden by the passing of Mark, as an member of B co in the 80's, I was very fond of Mark as an friend and as an professional soldier. He was a devout SF NCO that was admired greatly by the men of 3rd BN, as well as 10th Group as a whole. He will be surely missed, may God be with him now and with his family. Mark's passing is a great loss. SGM Fisher was my Team Sergeant at Fort Devens. I learned a great deal from him. He will be missed.

Dear Mel,
I met Mark as I came to my first ODA at Fort Devens. He was the outgoing Team SGT and my first Team Party was at your house. He was one of the great NCO's that personified Special Forces. He will be missed by all who met him.
