I am so shocked and saddened by the news of Mark's death. I worked with Mark at the Free Clinic as a volunteer physician. He represented all the best qualities of one involved in health care of the marginalized of society. His respect and care for all people was always evident, whether they were kind and appreciative or not. His medical knowledge was vast but understated. He knew how to make a way where there was no way--get a referral, get a CT- he made it happen...
