As an undergraduate at Hamilton, Mark was always the guy who spoke up in class. An English major who became a doctor, the compassion he learned in literature touched everything he did in science. When he returned to campus decades later, he and his dog arrived in his Jeep with an idea: The Adirondack chairs he scatted all over college hill encourage formal colloquy every bit as they afforded a spot for quiet relaxation. And that was oh-so-kahn: smart as a whip but as comfortable as an old shoe.

My sincere condolences to Dr Kahn's family.....I worked with Dr Kahn for many many years.....he was a wonderful surgeon....always put his patients first....took excellent care of my sister....and was a friend when you needed......tough on the outside but was careing.....and kind deep down.........love to Brenda and family
