I was saddened to learn that my uncle Mark passed away. My brother Ted called to tell me the sad news. Ted became a physician himself. I think that his conversations with our uncle Mark may have been an important factor influencing his choice of Emergency Medicine as a specialty.
I have many fond memories of visits with him, and his greeting cards at the holidays. I will miss him.

I am sorry to hear about our Dr. Lindsey. He was a great part of my nursing degree at Hamlet Hospital. He was always there to speak up for us as students when we could not speah for ourselves esp when we were talked down to in the OR. He was our "flimsy Dr. Lindsey" We all loved him dearly. I know he will be missed. As always Dessie, Class of 1960

It is with great sorrow that we have heard of Dr. Mark Lindsey's passing. We have enjoyed the times spent with Mark and Margaret as they have been generous hosts to us since moving to Atlanta. Of course, my mother, Teresa Walsh Schmierer, sends her love and thoughts to the family. We all wish solace and love to Mark and his family at this time.
Sincerely, Ann Schmierer and Craig Jones
