Dear Earnie, Valerie and family,
Your families have been in my thoughts and prayers for the comfort that only GOD can give when a tragedy of that magnitude happens to a loved one. SO SORRY your family is going through enormous grief of the loss of Mark.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Paul & Stroh families. I knew Mark when he attended Howe Avenue School in 1975/1976 and Encina High School 1976/1980. He was very quite and kept to himself most of the time. All the girls thought he was one of the best looking guys in school. He was the only boy in 8th grade that had a beard and hot body. Most of the girls thought he was very good looking & HOT. Today a close friend of mine (Tina Rivas) called to inform me that she just saw Mark Paul’s Obituary...

I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to Mark's family and Dion. I worked with Mark at SMUD back in the early 90's. Mark was the Union representative for meter reading. I will never forget how Mark stood up and represented me when I wasn't a union member. I was just a greenhorn in meter reading and didn't know what rights I had. His soft demeanor and understanding meant a lot to me. Mark truly rooted for the underdog!! Even after I left SMUD, Mark & I kept in touch until he moved....
