Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Mark's family, friends and firm. I am a fellow attorney and enjoyed and learned from his Sunday column in the Chicago Tribune. I was angry with the Chicago Tribune because I did not know of Mark's illness. The column was excellent and in my view not adequately replaced by the Chicago Tribune and I wonder if it ever will be. Patrick Urbut. Attorney at Law

Deepest sympathies to the Pearlstein Family and Levenfeld Pearlstein Staff,

I was truly saddened to hear about Mark's passing and was unaware that he was ill. Mark was not only a wise attorney, educator and communicator, he was a kind man. He was always a supporter of our consulting services and always wanted to help the smaller association client even if they could not afford his services. He was instrumental in legal changes in the industry and it is reassuring to know he was able...

Heartfelt sympathies to Mark's family, many friends and Firm. As an attorney myself, I have tremendous respect for Mark's tireless commitment to the improvement of the legal system for all, and as a client (member of the 100 E Huron Condominium Board for many years) I was fortunate to receive the benefit of his wise counsel. He will be missed but his many great contributions are permanent and lasting

Mark was not only an exceptional lawyer, but an extraordinary mentor and role model to my husband, Joe. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to Mark's family, and to the entire firm.

Dear Pearlstein Family,

I was very saddened to hear of Mark's passing and I offer my deepest sympathies. As the first President of the 540 Lake Shore Drive Condo Association after it first converted to condo's, Mark wise council and thoughtful advice steered us through choppy waters as we dealt with multiple issues at the on set of the conversion. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word who brought pinpoint clarity to complex issues.

dawn bauman said it all.

my short relationship with mark has lasting memories.

Mark spoke to the West Loop Community on two occasions and we learned so much from him about condo law. He was a terrific speaker, great sense of humor and we valued his knowledge and time that he gave so generously.

I am saddened to learn of Mark's passing, he was a true professional and friend. Even though I relocated to Arizona 12 years ago, I remain in community association management and spoke with Mark on several occasions. Our industry has certainly lost a wonderful attorney, true professional and wonderful friend. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I am so sorry about your loss. I'm the father of Scott's friend, Jeremy, and wanted to convey my sorrow and sympathy.
