Not sure what to say?

Still miss you Mark.

Mark Pollock was a great man. He was a genius and physically strong; thankfully he used his power for good. Mark always had time for anyone who wanted to talk with him, or visit, or catch up. He was also a stealth mentor for many new, and some not so new attorneys, helping them look brilliant while taking no credit, and happy to have been a present while the light bulb came on. His high energy, good cheer, and can -do mindset is deeply missed. Sir, you are not forgotten.

I had the chance to teach Mark the Martial Arts. He was a very dedicated and driven student who became our oldest Black Belt. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to teach such an intelligent and thoughtful gentleman. When my sister had some legal troubles I asked Mark for his advice and he and Ms. James represented my sister free for 2 years and prevailed in court. Mark was truly generous who´s time and talents.

A memory came up on my Facebook a couple days ago of you thanking A Positive Light for reminding you to meditate and accept all of life. Even this day when you sat on the side of the road with a flat tire. You are missed.

You were my hero; a tower of strength. You were my friend, mentor, and teacher as we got through school, established careers, hiked, cross-country skied, climbed, and trusted each other with our lives. You made my life better. Every time I entered Yosemite I knew you were there with me. I loved you and miss you more than I imagined.

You are still missed, and always will be. You have been a blessing to many through your support of our meditation center. Now that you have wings spread your blessings over the world. We are in great need of care and humor. Love and Light - Joanie

Rest In Peace dear Brother. Whenever I eat a bagel I´ll think of you.

I am shocked and saddened. I send the family and friends of Mark my deepest sympathies for your loss. You should know that over the last five years Mark gave regular donations to A Positive Light meditation center saying he believed in our work and wanted to help us reach out to help others. Having never met Mark in person I got to know a little of who he was through correspondence through my notes of thanks and his responding in his supportive and humorous way. He was generous, intelligent,...

Sending condolences to Allison and all of those in Mark´s wide circle of friends. I recall the humor and comradeship we shared tasting great cuisine and sharing stimulating and hilarious conversation from Napa and Santa Rosa to late nights in Mendocino. You will always be the best storyteller ever. Such a genuine person and I am a better person having known you. Rest gently in peace.
