Not sure what to say?

Just thought I would leave another message after remembering times spent with Mark. A short time after Mark retired, He and I met and shared old stories, laughs and future plans over cold beers. Mark kept asking me not to forget him and asked me to keep in touch. Well as time went on I kept telling myself that I needed to call Mark and never got around to it. I regret not making the time to keep in touch with him. Mark passed away on my birthday, and that was Mark's way of making it easy for...

Yo Mark! You went to young man!
I lived across the street from Mark and was one of the group of "odd guys" that hung around at EB.
Mark,Terry,Martin Dennis and I had some good times together even if we were the odd guys. Next time I am in Bakersfield I will make a run down Chester as a final salute to Mark.

JIM,JENNIFER AND FAMILY I WAS DEEPLY SORRY TO HEAR OF KARKS PASSING.GROWING UP TOGETHER AND THEN MOVING ON WITH YOUR LIVES YOU TEND TO LOSE SIGHT OF THE THINGS THAT WERE SO IMPRTANT TO YOUR GOWING UP INTO ADULTHOOD.WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME LAUGHING AND HAVING WARS AND BOYS DO.I REMEBER MANY NIGHTS CRUISING CHESTER WITH MARK AND MARTIN.AS MANY HAVE SAID MARK WAS ONE OF THISE SPECIAL PEOPLE WHOM ALWAYS HAD YOUR BACK NO MATTER WHAT.I WILL MISS HIM.

I worked with Mark at the Sheriff's Dept. usually on adjoining shifts,we would talk about work and family. Mark was truly a careing person and Deputy, but with him it was very natural. Mark you will be missed and never forgotten.

I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Mark. He was a good deputy and a pleasure to be around. His sense of humor kept us in laughter, and he will be missed. My thoughts and condolence are with his family and friends.

Mark has been has been my neighbor for about 8 years now and couldn't have ask for a better neighbor.... truly going to be missed Especially by my girls they both have already been asking about you and lady.

I went to East High with Mark. We lived "on the same alley" growing up. Mark on Wenatchee St. and Me on Pasadena St. His dad would always take Mark to school in the morning and if I happened to be walking to school at the same time they would always stop and pick me up. Many of those foggy mornings in Bakersfield it was a very welcome sight to see the lights of their VW pulling up. I have often thought of Mark and his family in the years that have passed. My sincerest condolences to the...

Best beat partner I ever had, he always had my back and always made me laugh. My condolences.

My condolences to Marks family. I worked with Mark at the Buttonwillow substation. Good deputy, great sense of humor we had alot of laughs.
