Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God.
I became acquainted with Mark while working narcotics. He made huge contributions as a law enforcement officer in the community he so proudly served; however, his contributions as a friend, mentor and reverent leader are beyond comprehension.
Mark was truly a peacemaker; an example for others to follow! You are all in my family’s thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sue,Sara,Rebecca and Luke
We have no words to take away the sorrow of Marks passing, but may it be of some comfort in knowing how many lives he brightened and encouraged-ours were some of them. The Bible verse that I read just after hearing of Mark is found in Ps.68:2 'Oh my people trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.'
Our prayers are with all of you.

Dear Sue & family:
We feel so blessed to have known Mark. He was always so cheerful, never compaining and an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Isn't it wonderful to know that when we see him the next time, his body won't be crippled by the terrible disease that destroyed his body, but not his soul. We love you.

Dear Riddering Family,
Mark was truly an inspiration to all he contacted. His strength and faith in God, his fellow man, and dedication to family was remarkable, envied by myself and his peers. He will be missed but has left all of us with some beautiful memories to last a lifetime. God Bless you and yours Mark, your work here is done.

Mark was a great co-worker, mentor and friend. I will forever remember the times we shared and how he would turn so many shades of red when he laughed or when playing a joke on someone..I truly will miss Mark, but his kindness and memories live on forever. I thank God that I was blessed enough to have known such an outstanding person, and that he was my friend.
