My friend Mark was the quintessential renaissance man. He could converse on any subject from the Khmer Rouge to what they served at a cocktail party in the 60´s. He was the ultimate handy man fixing my screen door in 20 minutes, I timed him, to putting up a shed without instructions. He worked hard, he played harder and he enjoyed the company of friends and family. His love for his wife and animals was his greatest gift. Yvonne, you and Mark and I met briefly when we biked the Camino in Spain. I remember both of you as being so friendly and willing to take on a "spare," totally amateur rider. Mark even taught me the value of a good chapstick! I know he was well loved and will be sorely missed. My heart is with you.
