Not sure what to say?

To Bernice and sons, My mother and I are saddened to learn of Mark's passing. We met Mark and Bernice in an unusual way. Not long after, while on one of our regular trips to Lake George, NY, we were introduced to "the other Scott's." Mark Scott, U.S army, Vietnam. Infantry Officer Candidate School, class #5/68. You will never be forgotten. Your class mate.

Fellow infantryman and roommate in Columbus Georgia, great guy will miss him .

Mark and I were in the same Army Infantry OCS class, graduating as second lieutenants on 5 Feb 68. Mark was a true patriot, a warrior, and a good friend. We enjoyed spending time with Mark and Bernice at several OCS reunions throughout the years. Mark will be sorely missed. May God provide blessings and solace to Bernice and the Scott family.

Mark was a real true friend and when Mark entered a room everyone was glad to see him. Mark would step up to the plate for his friends without hesitation. Mark and Bernice's love story is such a beautiful combination of love and war it's one for the record books. Mark is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war. After his retirement he and Bernice traveled the world as well as enjoying their homes in Lake George, N. Y. and Mexico. Mark loved his family so much he was a fine example for others...
