So sorry to hear about Mark´s passing. I met him at VL in `82 and admired his work on Leveraged Growth. I worked in mutual funds and with financial advisors in the infancy of the business. I remember Mark agreed to speak at the first Money Show in San Francisco at my request for one of large mutual fund clients. I walked into work early one Monday and Mark called me and said come to my office now! I went and he told me he couldn´t do the speech and told me "you do it"! So I left the office...

I just found out about Marks passing . A more markets knowledgeable but nice person you could not find. I knew Mark first in 1980 ar value line and then reconnect d in the past 15 years. A great guy . RIP Mark

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. It was always wonderful to see and talk with him about Latin School and everything else. Mark was a wonderful person, a gentle soul who made all our lives that much more worth living.

I am so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I have delightful memories of Mark's trailblazing ideas for the New York Chapter of BLS Alumni/ae. He was absolutely committed to keeping Alma Mater close to those who ventured to the NY area. He was a devotee of the theatre and brought about so many successful family-friendly fundraising events to support Alma Mater. My prayers go out to Mark's family. Our company was a long time client of Mark's firm and I had many phone calls with Mark surrounding our portfolio. He was very much a gentleman in every sense of the word. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. It seems like only yesterday that we were together at Boston Latin and at the YMHA-Hecht House Aardvarks, and at his and Susana's gracious home in NYC. He has left a hole in all our hearts -- a hole that can never be entirely filled.
