Mark Leonard Watson

Mark was a wonderful man enjoyed working with him for several years he and his talent will definitely be missed. Love and prayers for his family

I had lung surgery in February of 2024. Mark Watson was the person I saw most while in the hospital and he monitored me carefully, kept me informed and was kind and concerned. I am thankful for his efforts on my behalf.

Mark helped me after my heart surgery in 2012. The two final drain tubes which were just excruciating we´re ready to come out and he was the one tasked with that. He came in and started telling me jokes and he had me laughing so hard. Then he said, "well, I´m done". I looked at him and said "what?" He said, "yeah, while you were laughing I pulled the tubes out". I´ll never forget it because I didn´t even feel it. He knew what he was doing on so many levels and he will be sorely missed!

I was lucky enough to be stationed at naval hospital with Mark and served as Mark´s best man.

Mark, thank you for your kindness, your care, and your compassion during and after my first hospital stay last year. You were the bright spot in those long days, as you were friendly, honest, funny, and a great listener. Denise, we've never met, but I, too, have lost my husband, so I am sure you are heartbroken. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Centra has lost an amazing staff member. Mark you came to my room @ LGH prior to my open heart surgery the end of January. You made me laugh at a very scary time. I lost my love the same day you gained your heavenly wings. May you rest in peace
