Not sure what to say?

Dr. Zatzkis was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. He was the most caring person and he took care of me from the bottom of his heart. He never made me feel like a patient, me made me feel like a family member. He was so incredibly proud of his family and I was lucky to get updates on family life. My thoughts go out to his family and I feel as though I was lucky to have known him for as long as I did.

Dr. Zatzkis used to tell me I travelled the longest distance (from Singapore and Shanghai) of all his patients to see him before I moved back to the States. I was so happy to see him last April after missing him for 2 years. He told me "don't sweat the small stuff" and he was so glad he could still drive. He is indeed a caring and loving person; and I will miss him dearly.

I am saddended of unfortunately reading an obituary in the Newark Star Ledger of someone I remember well from childhood, Mark Zatzkis.
We knew each other as kids in grammar school, in Newark, New Jersey. He was a great kid, who excelled at his schoolwork. He was a model student, way back then. He was his parent's pride and joy.
My deepest sympathy to his wife Melissa, his children, and dear Mother, Natalie Zatzkis.

Farewell to thee! but not farewell
To all my fondest thoughts of thee:
Within my heart they still shall dwell;
And they shall cheer and comfort me.

I always found Dr. Zatzkis affable, generous and immensely insightful. I relished our discussions about the Yankees and life in New York and Boston. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Zatzkis, Hayley, Greg and Elliot.

Words fail me, Mark. Your spirit is with me daily, bringing great optimism and compassion and, grave sadness, all at once. You most certainly left this world in far better shape than you met it. However, we are now scrambling to fill your void... Even the birds are sad. love, Buzz

As you always will know, I love you very much. You're a great father and friend. I miss you very much, and there's yet to be a moment where I don't pause and think of you. I love you, Dad. Buddies 4 life.

Dr. Mark Zatzkis was a prince of a doctor, a man who always gave freely of himself and will therefore always be treasured by those of us fortunate enough to have been under his care. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed, and never forgotten.

Mark was a truly remarkable person, with a sincerity and graciousness that extended to everyone with whom he knew, cared for, and interacted. He is greatly loved by his family, friends, colleagues, and patients. His kindness, generosity, and friendship will not be forgotten.
