Not sure what to say?

David Fry and your girls,
I just received an e-mail about the One of a Kind Art show in Chicago. I immediately went to see if Marla was going to be there. I purchased one of her large flower windows last year. Each and every time I look at it I do smile! I was so saddened to hear the horrible news about Marla. Always remember how much pleasure your wife and mother gave so many people. I will always think of her as I smile.

Mr. Fry and family,

Nothing I can say will bring Mrs. Fry back, but I do give you my friendship through this painful time. She was, and always will be a light. We love you all!

Dear Dave and family, was so shocked and sad to hear about your loss. Will always remember Marla smiling up at you on your wedding day. She looked beautiful. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your girls. Sincerely, Jill

Family:

I am so sad to hear about this tragic loss. Marla and I would visit at art shows and were recently discussing my upcoming summer purchase from her. Her work was so eye catching and from the heart. She was a huge heart and that showed through her passion, family and work. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and 2 precious children.

Dear Dave, Anna and Maisy - Dan, Madeline, Aidan and I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with all of you and Sharon & Patty at the Children's Museum over the Thanksgiving Holiday. You have been in our thoughts and prayers since we heard the news. I have always thought the world of you, Dave, and did so even more upon meeting your family. Marla has inspired so many people in so many ways through her art and her willingness to reach out at the elementary school, countless ways I am...

I read about your loss in the Akiba Schechter weekly bulletin. My daughter attends pre-K there. My heartfelt condolences to family and friends.

We are so, so saddened by the tragic news. We only knew her through visits to her booths at art shows and the three pieces we have of hers. Marla and David remembered us, and the stories we told about what we were going to do with the pieces we bought. She was a wonderful woman whom we both regret not knowing better in our lives.

I appreciate & admire every day her talent in my daughters room. Im so sorry for your loss.

"Marly Fry. Why do I know that name?" It was my first thought. And then I knew. No. Not her. Not Marla. Such a fantastic woman and a beloved client of Dr. Gast and staff. Words cannot ever begin to describe what all her family must be feeling. I was (and still am) so haunted by such a tragedy. I've had the pleasure of mingling with Marla at least a time or two and am so glad I have. She provided her own little "window" into her wonderful world and I feel especially fortunate to have gotten a...
