Marlene Moore

When I think of Mar, and I often do, my thoughts take me to all of the wonderful times that we spent together. Although I moved away, we remained great friends. To say that I love and appreciate her is an understatement. She was a true friend. She loved me in spite of my shortcomings and failings and it wasn't until she was gone that I realized what a really true friend she was. She was and still is a blessing to have as a friend. Marlene and my mom Juanita (Wani) Haley were inseparable in high school. Their friendship was one of my mom's oldest and most favorite. Marlene told me many stories of that friendship after my mom passed away in 2007. She was a salt of the earth woman who was always kind and sweet. I am truly sorry for your loss. She will live on in all of you.
