Marsha Ann Herbst, 75, of North Platte, passed away November 27, 2022 at Great Plains Health.  She was born on December 5, 1946 to Edward Louis and Betty Jo (Weil) Herbst in North Platte.


Marsha attended schools in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1964.  She attended beauty school became a hairdresser.


Marsha moved to Fort Collins, CO and lived there for several years.  She worked various retail jobs and was a nanny.  She later moved to Connecticut where she worked as a nanny for many years.  Marsha eventually moved back to North Platte and worked in tele-marketing until she retired.  She lived in the family home that was built by her father and cared for her mother until her death in 2008. 


Marsha is survived by three siblings, Judy Herbst Brown of North Platte, Michael (Corneilia) Herbst of Fort Collins, CO, Gary (Jackie) Herbst of North Platte and children; numerous cousins spread across the country.


Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Betty.


Cremation was chosen and inurnment will take place at a later date.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to read of Marsha´s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Marsha's passing. I have know Marsha since Jr. High. Always pleasant and I always enjoyed bumping into her and visiting. God has his plan, what it is we don't know, but calling Marsha home was his. Again, please accept my sincere sympathy.

Sure sorry to hear about Marsha. Always enjoyed visiting with her throughout the years.
