Marsha Ann Herbst

1946 - 2022

Marsha Ann Herbst, 75, of North Platte, passed away on Nov. 27, 2022, at Great Plains Health. She was born on Dec. 5, 1946, to Edward Louis and Betty Jo (Weil) Herbst in North Platte. Marsha attended schools in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1964. She attended beauty school and became a hairdresser. Marsha moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, and lived there for several years. She worked various retail jobs and was a nanny. She later moved to Connecticut where she worked as a nanny for many years. Marsha eventually moved back to North Platte and worked in telemarketing until she retired. She lived in the family home that was built by her father and cared for her mother until she died in 2008. Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Betty. Marsha is survived by three siblings, Judy Herbst Brown of North Platte, Michael (Corneilia) Herbst of Fort Collins and Gary (Jackie) Herbst of North Platte and children; and numerous cousins spread across the country. Cremation was chosen and inurnment will be at a later date. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
