I worked with Marshall at the Big Dig. We share office space with me. He was a very nice person, very funny. We enjoyed talking about the Red Sox and went to lunch, usually in Chinatown, once a week! I was just starting out there, only having been around a couple of years. He was very nice to me and everyone we worked with. He will be missed!

Condolences to Marshall's family. I haven't seen Marshall in many years, but I have warm and fond memories of a dear man with a broad smile, a good joke and a big and loving heart. Always a twinkle in his eyes. I hope you take comfort that he had a long life filled with family and friends. I send love and sympathy.

Dear Kids, I have let the remaining Sack cousins know, and to a person they all said, oh that lovely, kind man. I pride myself on having made the match between your mother and father, and am grateful to have had Marshall's friendship for so many years. He was wonderfully proud of all of you and your children, and in his care for our darling Inez he became an honorary Sack. I send you love and sympathy, May his memory bless you. Cousin Judith Klau

Marshall and I knew each other for over 20 years. Marshall was smart, kind and considerate . He loved to have fun, had an indomitable spirit and lived life to its fullest.
I will miss my friend Marshall. I will miss our conversations about Harvard and Columbia and I always told him Columbia was best.
May his memory be of a blessing to Marshall's family and all those who knew him.

Marshall was a wonderful friend. For many years, every Tuesday night we played poker. A precise individual, he knew exactly whether he was ahead or behind in the game. Unfortunately, he wasn't ahead this time and we lost him too soon. He will always be remembered for his character and his sunny disposition. He will be sorely missed.
