Marshall was my brother--beloved and, now, dearly missed. He embodied all the good people have said. I'm moved to write, though, by the note from the nurses on this page. Their care for him was inspiring, unstinting, and in all ways, miraculous. How so many individuals can act with such empathy and energy in unison is a wonder. God bless those nurses, and God bless my brother Marshall.

Marshall Neilson was a dear friend, a husband beyond compare, a father like no other, and a man who dedicated his life to others. Whether he was teaching his students, laughing with colleagues in faculty room, eating cake, engaging in hilarious repartee on social media with friends, like Jason Savage or Christopher Lawrence, holding his children or celebrating their joys and accomplishments: B's phenomenal airport's, Parker's ice hockey, Molly's aka Vladimir's latest remarks, he did it all...
