Not sure what to say?

TO MOTHER

I sit in my room and I muse tonight,
As my mind spins and wandering goes,
And I see long ago, in the years gone by,
The home that my memory knows.

The small little boy has stubbed his toe,
He has done this before, and now he has done it again;
But his mother just smiled, kissed him and bandaged his wound.
And somehow there’s no more pain.

Lisa, David and family, I have so very much enjoyed knowing your Mom (and Grandmother) through our long time friendship. I have good memories of your Mom opening her home to so many of us friends to gather and hang out. True southern hospitality your mom had! Conversations with her were inspiring and always interesting. One smart lady. With her, you knew she loved the Lord, as she spoke it. With love and deep sympathy to you Lisa, David, and grandchildren.

friendship although it evolved under strange circumstances we...

I have wonderful memories of you, Martha. We had some good times especially
looking for the next place to eat fish! We went from the high end to the Service
Stations when the served on certain nights. But it was always good. And the
company was always good. I still chuckle at our many conversations we had. I
learned about you and you me, our secrets, etc. No worry what I haven’t forgotten,
they are still safe with me. You were a good friend and I love you. We...

How I miss you so!! My phone is quiet , and has stopped ringing. The silence is deafening. I miss how you would say “This is your wicked stepmother”. Oh, how I would love to hear that again. If only we could have another lunch at Alexander’s and have a piece of carrot cake. My memories of you are everlasting. I love you
