Martha Fleming Obituary

Martha Rea Fleming, a retired employee at Department of Social Security, died at East Jefferson General Hospital on Monday January 10, 2005. Age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late John Thomas Fleming. Mother of Clarence Ronald Fleming, Temple Fleming Sutton and Linda Fleming Dufrechou. Daughter of the late Ida Robinson Elliott and Clarence Erwin Elliott. Sister of Juanita Froman of Biloxi, MS, Bonnie Jean Pittfield of Ocean Springs, MS and the late Dorothy Rice. Survived by: son-in-law, Joseph Sutton; and eight grandchildren: Cindy Kellie Sutton Zekaria, Stacey Lori Sutton D'Angelo, Kendra Rea Sutton Hodapp, Dwayne and Darren Dufrechou, Kirk, Ronald and Troy Fleming. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A native of Needham, Alabama and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd on Thursday January 13, 2005 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation 9:30 AM until service time. The burial service will be conducted at the Southern Memorial Cemetery, Biloxi, MS. Please sign and view the Family Guestbook at www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
