Funeral services for Martha Sue Offord, age 71 of Childersburg, will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Chappell and Rev. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, September 17 from 5:30-8 PM at the funeral home. She passed away September 13, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Pope (Jason); son, David Price; sisters, Jessie Irvin and Dorothy Chappell (Terry); brothers, Jerry Gilliland (Luann), Gene Gilliland (Peggy), James Gilliland; grandchildren, Taylor Pope, Tyler Pope and Tegan Pope; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Bullard, Chase Cannon, Jamie Elliott, Micah Hobbs, Charley Pope, and Mann Pope. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ray Offord and daughter, Susan Rae Offord.
