I learned just today (January 2, 2018) of your Mom's passing in late 2015 -- I'm so very sorry; I had no idea until a card I sent to her just before Christmas came back as undeliverable and I found this page. What a beautiful soul Aunt Mart was -- truly one of my favorite people, both within our family and without. Her smile, her wry sense of humor, her matter-of-factness, her optimism -- all such antidotes to whatever challenge had seemed insurmountable before you...

Dear Jan (and Les)

I was saddened to see your Mom's Obituary in the on-line version of the daily record. I sent you a card (via the "CODEY- MACKEY" (formerly MACKEY- DIXON) and I mean every word I wrote.
