Not sure what to say?

While we never had the honor of meeting Martha Whiting personally, we have had long years of learning firsthand from her daughter, Sammie Whiting Ellis, about this wonderful woman who gave so much during her lifetime to her family, the Houston community and the world.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family. May God grant you all peace and harmony during this time of grief knowing that so many of your loved ones sincerely and deeply share your loss with you.

To the Whiting/Yates family, please know that you all are in our prayers. Unfortunately, Cheryl and I just found out yesterday. Otherwise we most certainly would have been there to express our condolences in person. You have many memories of a one of a kind lady to always hold in your hearts. Stay strong and prayerful, our thoughts will be with you.

Sincerely,

Family, I remember being the kid that bugged everybody cause I wanted so much to be apart of a great family. Aunt Cecil, Aunt Martha and Momma Nannie made me feel that way.Aunt Martha is not only at home with the Almighty father but is reunited with love of her live, Momma Nannie, Aunt Cecil, Uncle Troupe Auntie Bern and the list goes on. My prayers are with you all! Contiune to make the Yates, Countee and Whiting legacies proud by living the way we were taught...GOD FEARING. Love to...

To God be the glory! What wonderful memories to cherish and share of a life lived with a living legacy-that is what your Mother was to many. Thank you all for sharing her. Peace and love to you all, especially you Martha Ann.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Aunt Martha was a woman of such integrity and excellence. She will be greatly missed by everyone, but the beauty is she has left a legacy for others to follow. Only once we have learned to follow can we truly learn to lead.

To The Family Of Mrs. Martha Whiting, you have my sincere sympathy in the passing of your mother and grandmother. God takes the very best and she was one of the best. May God continue to Bless you and keep you in his care.
