Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear about Gene's passing. My condolences to the Herman family. I knew Gene through his brother, Tony. We only met a few times over the years, but Gene made a very positive and lasting impression on me. All the best to your family. I will remember Gene in my prayers.

My deepest sympathies to the Herman family. I knew the Herman family through church. He would call me St Mary because that was my high school. What a beautiful person, genuinely kind and compassionate. I'm not at church right now, but he still will be in my prayers. Rest in peace, Gene, and Patrick will guide your way. Michelle Pignotti.

Uncle Gene will be deeply missed by all. I have such fond childhood memories of my days at the shore with him, my Aunt Jeanie and all of my cousins. Rest in peace.

The Humes Family sends our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Herman, Marty, Gigi, Michael, Mary and all your children and extended relatives. Mr. Herman was among the most kind, caring, loving men I ever knew and treated me and other friends of his kids like extended family. We were always warmly welcomed in the Herman home. My heart and prayers are with you all. May he rest in peace and may he enjoy a beautiful reunion with Patrick.
