Rest in Peace Marti

I and Marty were officers of Yale Aviation in the 1980's, and spent numerous hours flying all over New England, and raising money for the club by sponsoring overseas trips to Russia, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. Marty was a good friend, witty and super-intelligent. I will miss him. My condolences to his daughter and family.

Some of us will remember Marty as a superb flutist at Walnut Hill High School. Hat's off forever for your perfect picolo on "Stars & Stripes".

Marty was my best friend growing up in Cincinnati. I tried googling him, hoping to get in touch after a long time. I found this; not exactly what I was hoping for. Needless to say, I knew Irv, Shirley, and his brother Alan, who died a while ago. Nobody mentioned his piano playing. While we were in Cincinnati he was an enthusiastic pianist. Allow me to extend condolences to all who remain.

What an amazing life.

A great advocate for the environment. He and his advocacy will be missed.

I'm sorry for the loss of Marty. I knew him from the Sierra club. Marty made many contributions on social and envirnmental issues. Linda A. Infante

I'm sorry to hear of Marty's passing. I knew him just from my time as a resident in New Haven. He seemed to be a decent, intelligent fellow.

Marty was a wonderful brother-in- law to me, and a beloved uncle to our children. I will miss his wisdom, humor, and unique way of seeing the world. He was, truly, one of a kind. We will remember him always, with love. Janet, Ali, and Audrey Mador
