Munoz, Martin Sr. Martin Munoz Sr., 87, went to serve our King peacefully on January 12, 2013. Martin was born in Duncan, Arizona. He is survived by his wife Lydia Mckinn Munoz of 63 years; sons Edward and Martin; daughters; Stella Munoz Hunsaker, Sylvia Wallace and Cynthia Price; sister; Minnie Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Martin served with honor in the United States Navy during WWII he was stationed on the U.S.S Hornet. He retired from the City of Phoenix and City of Tempe Traffic Engineering. Martin was a kind and loving family man who loved our Lord. He will be deeply missed. We Love you Dad. A memorial and military service will be on January 22, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 909 E. Washington St. Phoenix, with visitation will be from 9am to 10am with Funeral Mass to follow at 10am. He will be laid to rest following the service at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 North 48th Street Phoenix, AZ 85008. Arrangements entrusted to Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, www.greenwoodmemorylawn.com.

Dad is an awesome kind man who loved the lord and his family. He always gave people the benefit of the doubt. His ethics were high and he held everyone accountible. His physical presence will be missed greatly but his spirit will always be here on earth with us
His wisdom has been a great example of how we should live as well as his ethics and value system how we should conduct ourselves

Dads soul is exactly where he wanted to be with our lord the KING OF ALL KINGS He sits with the faithful

Although I never got the chance to visit I can only remember my uncle briefly. I rmember when he came to my father's funeral ( Ramon Munoz) back in 73. What a wonderful thing it would be to get to know all my extended family. My condolences and heartfelt prayers are with you during this time of loss.
