I'll never forget Marty. He worked with my dad Lt. Mike Nee both on the BFD and off doing carpentry. One of the best attitudes of anyone I ever ran into. One day a few years ago when I was in Southie, what looked the my fathers ghost was walking down East 5th street. It was Marty. Marty and my dad were like brothers from different mothers. What a pleasure to have seen him again after so many years. Just a great man.
