Not sure what to say?

Time does keep moving along....I ran into Marty at a number of Open Mics and we enjoyed chatting and each others music. I was trying to track him down to play at a series I was trying to put together when I discovered he had passed away. Too damned young. I'm sure his family misses him tremendously.

I was not aware of Marty's passing until just now. I didn't know him well but encountered him at a number of Open Mikes in the area around 2012-2013 and we had some nice chats - I enjoyed his playing and he was complimentary about mine. Having been sort of out of touch with the world for a few years dealing with disability I hadn't seen him, nor heard of this. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. Reading through these comments it's obvious he was the great guy he appeared to...

I was at the Jeff Bauman boston Marathon Bombing fundraiser. Marty, Gayle Picard and I were discussing and talking about putting together a combo ticket of shows for the Bull Run. The only time slots appeared to be winter, and Marty was undeterred. It was clear to me his goal was to simply play music, big crowd or not. His pure joy and love of music shone through. It was inspirational. Rock on Marty, it's music night again!k

My sincere condolence goes out to Sharon and to all of Marty's Family &

Friends. I was shocked to receive the news of Marty's Passing.
He was one of the most vibrantly talented unique Music performers , I have heard and Come to know thru the years. often times we performed at the same Groton Open Mike. I once told Marty, what an inspiration He and His music was to me. knowing this talented Gentle Soul Fine human being has been a blessing in my life. I will remember and...

The t-shirt is long gone, but I have and always will think of Marty when I hear: First I look at the purse, Locomotive Breath, Turn the page, and Cross-eyed Mary.

The years did pass but I'll always look fondly back on the times so long ago when we talked about the good and the difficult.

Sean, Mike, all family and friends I'm very sorry for your loss.

Great picture of Marty photographed by his loving sister Catherine. Thank you for this wonderful picture. Marty is so happy you took this!

Marty's latest band music made up of Marty's original songs!
