I am so sorry! Martin was a dear friend and sat with my husband when our son died. He was junior warden at our church when I was church secretary, and he was always available when we needed him.

I remember Mr. Nickerson walking the family dog, Boy, every day- rain, drizzle or during a down pour- around the block of the Nickerson family´s Juneau home. I also recall dinners around the Nickerson family table when there were lively discussions of current events and a focus on our future plans as we were transitioning from tweens to adolescents.
