Not sure what to say?

I am just seeing this. My condolences to Marty Steiner´s family. I was stationed with him at Wilford Hall Med Ctr. He was a kind and gentle man with a nice smile and a sense of humor. But also a great and compassionate doctor. May he rest in peace. Amen!

Still think of you often.

I am so sad to hear that Dr. Steiner has passed. In my opinion he was one of the all-time greatest doctors. He truly listened to me, tested me and taught me about my care, including recommending I keep a diary of symptoms. His level of care is sadly lacking today! He also remembered personal details, even after months if not years since the last visit and called me at home when I sent a fax to his office requesting records for a change in PCP. I never had the sense that he was only or mostly...

I suddenly came by this post and am grief stricken. I worked for Martin for 25 years. Loved the Christmas parties and the trains. Wonderful man and family. So much great advice he gave to me. Barbara Campbell. Your "greatest" EEG tech. Your words. Gone too quickly my friend.

I was shocked today to learn Dr. Steiner is no longer alive! and am sad that he passed away. Although we were not close friends, I've known of many patients who loved him and had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Based upon all of the great feedback I'd always heard from patients, I'd continued to refer patients for several years whenever someone asked about a good neurologist. I've read all of the other memories on this site just now and wish his family well, and hope they can...

I just saw this!!!! My heart is breaking for this wonderful family!!! I am so sorry for y'all's loss !!! My prayers and thoughts are with y'all !! Love, Delarr Wesson Pearson and Family

Dr. Steiner was a wonderful Doctor. One of the only to give me samples of seizure medication when I didn't have health insurance. I was amazed by his generosity and humbled. Such a kind and compassionate Doctor. I am sorry for his family's loss, his sudden passing was a shock to read about and I will be thinking of him and thanking him for all of his help as my doctor.

Oh how sad I was when I went to look up Dr. Steiner's phone number to once again consult him on some medical advice and I saw here he had passed away. Tears are still streaming down my face because I had no idea that he had passed. My father Dr. James W.Greer and Dr. Steiner were very good friends for many years. When I was 18 years old, in 1975, I was admitted to Memorial Southwest hospital by my father because out of nowhere I was unable to walk or move a muscle in my body. Dr. Steiner...

What a great loss. Marty was a wonderful friend and he will be missed dearly. He was always there to help anyone in need - rest in peace our friend.
