There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss Marty. He was one of a kind

Had such great times working with Marty at the Pilgram Lounge as a manager, we were singing there every weekend, we had a ball, R.I.P. my dear friend.....

I've been retired for nine years and just heard about Marty passing. I was the sports editor at the News of Delaware Country for 37 years, and Marty made writing stories about him just flow onto the page because he was such a colorful character and had enough boxing wisdom to fill three Madison Square Gardens. We used to discuss matters such as "could Jake LaMotta have beaten Sugar Ray Leonard?" - and it was always fun to hear Marty explain, emphatically, with a dismissive wave of his hand -...

DAMON,its prob.you reading this,when I was training u were a little kid,i remember ur dad and pete benching over 300 lbs.and he was close to 50,i seen him recently and noticed he lost weight,that was the age,i lost my dad its 5 years already,and my mom suffered a stroke and I do everything in my power to keep her spirts up,shes 88 now but stay strong easy said then done, I know when I lose my mom it will be the biggest lose of my life so I feel what ur going through.may GOD BLESS UR FAMILY. ...
