Marva was a quiet force. She was a thoughtful board member, a keen listener with interesting perspectives to add. I enjoyed serving with her. I will miss her.

Marva was a beautiful person inside and out I will miss running into her at many of the annual events we both attended, or just sharing funny and loving Fab 5 stories on a text or phone call. It was an Honor and a Privilege to know her. Marva you will be missed!

I´ve known Marva for many years primarily through playing golf and working with her on the MVGA course rating team. But she also introduced me to the Dayton Early College Academy (DECA), one of the many community organizations she served so well. I will remember Marva for her great personality, leadership, genuine kindness and fun times on the golf course . She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family.

Marva was in Mary´s Bible class at Christian Life Center on Friday mornings. Such a sweet, positive, gentle woman of God!! We love her and will miss her!! Our class will be donating to the Dayton Foundation in memory of her. A member, Melanie , will submit that for our group. We have been so blessed to have known Marva!!

Marva and I played golf together at Meadowbrook Country Club years ago. We always had a good time no matter our scores. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful personality. I´m sure she will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to her family. Rest in peace dear lady! Joyce Cantrell
