Read MoreDurant Family, It has been many, many years since I last saw Mrs. Durant. I met her in 1974 when I began my nursing career at BCH. She was a role model and mentor and a very gentle woman...someone we could all aspire to be like. She touched many lives, in a good and kind way not only through nursing but by "being" a nurse. My sympathy to you at the loss of a fine woman.

I am truly blessed to have known such a wonderful person. Marvel will be missed by a lot of people. I will miss her smile, and her way of making everyone feel good about themselves. I am sorry for your loss Becky. Just know that I am thinking about you at this hard time. I enjoyed taking care of your mom. She taught me a lot.
