My condolences to the family. My mother, Carolyn Duggan, started the Bridal Registry in the Hackensack store many years ago. My mother adored"Mr.Traub" and he was very good to her.She worked there for 30 years, she was 77 when she retired.I met him once while working at Bloomies during college; that's when he was CEO and he made everyone feel as though we were all family. It's never been the same. My mother passed away two years ago,but I'll never forget how she spoke glowingly of him.

When he asked where I had come from and I told him Mark Cross, he laughed and said I was now certainly part of a much larger family. For some reason I felt comfortable enough with him to say I had hoped I would do alright with Bloomingdales; it was all so different from my past life. Sorry about your loss. Also sorry I didn't meet Mr. Traub. My brother lost his life outside Metz on Nov. 10,1944. I wonder if Mr. Traub could shed some light on the activities of that day or before and after. I regret not knowing more about Mr.Traub before his demise.

3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
