The California Art Education Association would like to extend condolences to the family of Marvis Smith, a true patron of the arts. Many of our members have benefited from Blue Line Arts and it programs and are grateful to people like Marvis who are willing to expend the time, money, and devotion to making visual arts available to so many. The loss of Marvis is a loss to the entire visual arts community.

We worked with Marvis for many years to support Roseville Arts/Blue Line Gallery. Marvis was an amazing person with unlimited energy and a passion for the arts.
