Mrs. Barrett was one of my favorite teachers at Trinity. I echo the sentiment of others who share a great fondness for her and her contributions to our development. I was sharing my favorite story of her explaining the Louisiana Purchase and the relationship to my Haitian heritage when I heard the news. I am deeply saddened by the loss and extend my condolences to every family, friend and student she had the opportunity to touch. May she rest in peace

My condolences to John, Nora, and Katie. Mrs B was such a dear friend to my mom Susan and our family. She was there for us when my dad passed, and was a strong counsel to my mom when She was dealing with my unfortunate issues. We all lost a dear friend and support. Strength to all. RIPMB
