Not sure what to say?

I'm so saddened to hear about Mary. She was a wonderful lady and always greeted everyone (especially the dogs) with a big smile and friendly words. I know she's up there sharing her love with all the animals that have crossed over the bridge. My heartfelt condolences to Jefferson and the rest of her family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear about Mary. I knew her from the neighborhood and the dog park. I can still see her sitting in the grass and calling my dog's name with such happiness. She will truly be missed.

I'm just finding out about Mary's passing.. and am so sad to hear this. I remember fun times from high school and what a great person Mary was. My prayers go out to her family. May you know God's peace in the days ahead. Sincerely, Beverly Ballard Catoe, Dreher High School Class of 1970

So sorry to hear about this. I remember that wonderful house on Lakeshore Drive when we were growing up in Columbia. I reconnected with Mary quite a few years ago but had not seen her in an age. She was a wonderful person.

Mary was a wonderful woman. He generousity of spirit and love were over abundant. She was my dearest friend for the past 30 years.
She had such style and grace.
Occasionally I get to pass Port Liberte, a complex she designed in New Jersey, and I marvel at her talent as an architect.
Mary, build your castles in heaven. Love you madly...and forever.

I will never forget the years spent in Columbia with Mary and her sweet mom, Hazel and the fun times I had with Mary and Jefferson in Charleston. Love to all. Barbara

I have always admired Mary's intelligence, forward thinking and spirit. She will not be forgotten.

My sympathy to the family. I will miss seeing her walking her dog Jefferson.

Mary was one of those oh, too rare people whose name one doesn't forget. I can still remember the evening I met her.. at California Dreaming restaurant. I was immediately intrigued by her air of bohemianism and her wide-ranging ideas. It was only later that I came to appreciate her generosity and warmth. The world is a poorer place without her. May she rest in peace.
