Upon arriving in Goldsboro today I learned of the passing of Mary Martin. Words cannot express the sadness I feel! What a beautiful, caring, and giving lady she was! My mother had the privilege of working as an administrative assistant to Ed Borden for fifteen plus years before her retirement. She came to love Mary Martin beyond words. I too shared a love for her in association with the Seyboro Sharks swim team. My son and Martha were teammates and we spent many hours together. My love...
