Mary Campbell Obituary

Mary Oxner Campbell ROCK HILL - Mary Oxner Campbell, 82, of Rock Hill, SC, and formerly of Charlotte went to her eternal home on March 20, 2013. She was born on November 3, 1930, in Greenville County, SC, to R.C. Oxner and Ruth James Oxner. Mary married George W. Campbell on February 24, 1950, in Clinton, SC. She has been a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Charlotte since 1958. She was a humble Christian servant. Mary was the epitome of a homemaker. Her home and her family were her whole life. She was the best cook ever! Survivors include her two children, Becky Williams (David), Ft. Mill, SC, and Brian Campbell (Diane), Charlotte; her brother, Charles Oxner; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 1-2pm at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road in Charlotte, followed by her service at 2pm. The Rev. Earl Pennell will officiate. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George William Campbell, Jr.; and her brother, Dewey Oxner. Donations in Mary's name may be given to the Agape Senior Foundation, 1053 Center Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.mcewenpinevillechapel.com.
