The Friends of the Bethlehem Public Library were blessed to know and work with Eileen. She helped with our book sales by posting signs throughout her new town. She and John worked on the signs together delighting in learning about a few new localities. She was always so positive, and radiated such warmth . As I gathered the signs she had just placed, I marveled at the creativity in her placements. We are so sorry for your loss, and send our sincere condolences.

Eileen and I were college roommates for 2 years, and I was with her when she and John met. Our friendship remained strong through all of these years. Oh, how I will miss you, dear friend. Also, college buddies, across the miles, have sent their condolences: Joanne Hicks Adams, Sharry...

I had only known Eileen a few months, from joining Delmar Progress Club. Her spark and excitement for whatever we were doing, be it in a book discussion, walking, working at a blood drive, made such an impression on me. She gave her all. I will really miss her.
