I assisted Mary Ann in one of her career moves when she was moving to another law firm. I spent many hours on the phone with her and got to know her well. She was a special person with a heart of gold. She loved her family deeply and was passionate about the defense industry. Mary Ann was first a guiding light in the Pentagon and then one of my few best friends. She was very effective through a combination of great intellect and humour. To me she was kinda of like Bette Midler except knew DC and executed strategy extremely well. My wife and I are saddened to learn of her passing. One of a kind. That´s for damn sure.

Mary Ann is my cousin, and I am saddened to hear of her passing. I always looked forward to seeing her at her Labor Day party (which) is also her birthday time. She was talented and was active in many civic and professional organizations.

Mary Ann was my mother´s cousin. As I live in NY and am in theater, Mary Ann connected with me about 35 years ago and we have remained in touch ever since. She was an avid theater goer; she came to see me perform on Broadway and came to the high school productions I directed and was equally enthusiastic about each. She served on the board of The Signature Theater in D.C. and was a great champion of all their terrific work. We had many phone conversations that usually began with Mary Ann...

She came to see me on Broadway and she came to see the high school productions I directed and was equally enthusiastic for each. She was a real theater lover and supporter. She was on the board of The Signature Theater and a true champion of all their great work. I will miss our phone conversations which...
