My favorite auntie and I shared an incredible trip to Switzerland--beginning in Geneva where we were able to conduct some in-depth family history about her aunt who lived in Geneva in the 20's as an advocate for women and children's rights around the world. Miss Hathaway was my HS. English teacher at SLRHS for 3 yrs- a brilliant and dedicated teacher- I learned more about the works of Shakespere( her passion) and more about grammar and diagramming sentences and she somehow made both fancinating to a very young and not that interested 15 yr old mind- may she Rest In Peace having lived an extraordinary and giving life.
